How do different assemblies compare when it comes to durability?

There are various techniques to assemble multi-layer wooden panels such as CLT and DLT into prefabricated, load-bearing construction elements. However, comparative market and economy studies are still scarce. A study compared laminating, nailing, stapling, screwing, stress laminating, doweling, dovetailing, and wood welding. The production costs, durability, and ecological considerations were also looked at. Study results show that each panel technique has advantages.
